The international smash-hit will have its Erie Playhouse premiere. Epic, grand and uplifting, Les Miserables packs an emotional wallop that has thrilled theatre-goers all over the world. The musical masterpiece overflows with melodies that have brought audiences to their feet again and again.

Disney's The Little Mermaid JR (YT) Nov. 2-4, 9-11, 2012
In a magical kingdom fathoms below, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince Prince Eric that she’s the girl with the enchanting voice.

The Sound of Music (MS) Nov.29 - Dec. 2, 5-9, 13-16, 2012
The world's most beloved musical returns to the Playhouse stage as a glorious holiday treat! Maria, a high-spirited postulant, is sent to serve as governess to seven children of a widowed naval captain. Their inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria von Trapp, has captured the hearts of all.

New Year's Eve Gala Concert - Magical Movie Music (SE) Dec. 31, 2012
The Playhouse presents its traditional New Year's Eve concert with a flurry of music from movies both old and new. A full orchestra and the finest vocalists will provide the perfect entertainment for your New Year's celebration.

Godspell (YT) Jan. 11-13, 18-20, 2013
Based on parables from the Bible, this feel-good musical with lots of charm is a groundbreaking and unique reflection on the life of Jesus, with a message of kindness, tolerance and love. This really is one show for the entire family to enjoy.

Duke Ellington's Sophisticated Ladies (MS) Feb. 1 & 2, 7-10, 13-17, 2013
The musical legacy of Duke Ellington is celebrated in this stylish and brassy revue that has taken audiences and critics by storm throughout the world. It's a high-stepping salute inspired by the glamorous nightlife and sensuous high life of a man whose music has become synonymous with class and elegance.

This lovely, intimate adaptation of Jane Austen's first novel is a charming journey through hope and heartbreak as two young ladies find that when sense and sensibility meet, love can't be far behind.

Everyone's favorite senior class from Rydell High hits the Playhouse stage in this rollicking look back at the 50's. Duck-tails, hot rods, gum-snapping, hip-shaking and a whole lot of rockin' and rollin' will keep you tapping your feet and singing along to the ever-popular musical.

The only problem is, when they arrive, what they thought were long lost nephews turn out to be nieces. Full of romantic entanglements and plenty of hi-jinks, audiences will find it hard to take a breath between laughs.
