Trisha Yates, PLAYtime Coordinator for Erie Community Schools

Trisha is a long-time member of the Playhouse family and has been on staff as the Assistant Facilitator of PLAYtime, our pre-K arts and literacy based program that is entering its fourth year. This expansion of her current role will see her administrating PLAYtime, as well as continuing to work with and teach in our six centers, while working to expand the reach of PLAYtime and other Outreach opportunities, continuing the Playhouse’s vision deliver the arts beyond 10th Street to serve the entire Erie Community. Trisha has worked as a Freelance Educational Consultant, helping to bring arts and creativity into classrooms all over the nation, as a second grade teacher with the Erie Day School, as Director/Assistant Director of musicals in the General McLane School District, as Adjunct Professor of “Creative Expression in the Classroom” at Gannon University, and as a private voice instructor, among many other creative endeavors.
