AUDITIONS: “The Ones That Got Away,” A Playhouse Cabaret

Think back over your time doing theatre: community theatre, college theatre, dinner theatre, high school – anywhere! Have you ever auditioned for a role you REALLY wanted – and you didn’t get cast? Has there ever been a show that you would’ve been just perfect for, but – for example – they did it 10 years too late? Have you ever wanted to play a character, but it just didn’t work with your schedule? 

Now is your chance to audition for redemption! Who knows.. It could *still* get away, but it’s worth a re-try! 

“The Ones That Got Away” is a Cabaret featuring songs that you never got to perform!

Audition Date:
July 28th, 6:30pm at the Rehearsal Hall 

Audition Requirements: 

• 64 Bars of a song from a role you auditioned for and didn’t get, were too old or too young to play, or couldn’t make work because of schedule. (If you have another reasoning, feel free to present it!) 
• 60 second or less anecdote as to why you chose this song, what it means to you, etc. (Bonus points for humor!)
• You will be required to be at 2 rehearsals only. TBD based on conflicts. 
• Must be 18+ to audition, please. 

Performance dates:
August 18th & 25th at Room 33
Doors Open @ 6pm, Show @ 7pm
