We are honored that so many of you have chosen to spend this important day with us as we open COME FROM AWAY tonight on the 25th anniversary of 9/11. We are excited to share this story of resilience and hope with you.
As of this morning, tonight’s performance is sold out. With such a large crowd coming to a performance with general admission seating (meaning no assigned seats), we’d like to share a few tips and reminders:
- Seating will begin at 7:00 p.m. We know many people like to arrive early to be first through the doors, but please be patient and flexible. With general admission seating, you may not get your favorite seats, but I promise you, the show is great from every seat!
- Our lobby is small, and we can’t fit 400+ patrons in the lobby area at the same time. Consider waiting outdoors until the house opens and the line is moving. We won’t start the show until everyone present has been seated.
- If you need to pick up your tickets, note that paid ticket orders will be available for pickup at the concessions stand on the left side of the lobby. If you need to pay for your order or show your Choice Card, Open Card or ticket voucher, please head to the box office counter located to the right side of the lobby. Patrons who already have tickets in hand (or on their phone) should queue up in the center of the lobby, with the line extending outside as needed.
- If you can navigate stairs easily, please consider sitting upstairs in the balcony so that patrons who can’t navigate stairs easily have access to seats on the main floor.
- Please move to the center of the row and don’t leave open seats in between parties. There’s room for everyone, but not room for empty seats. You may prefer to sit on the aisle, but unfortunately, that might not be possible.
- COME FROM AWAY is presented in one act with no intermission. The run time is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes. Concessions and bar will be open before the show only.
- Most of all, please be patient with our staff, our volunteers and your fellow patrons. You may be asked to move in, fill in gaps, or split up if you’re in a large group.
We’re working hard to make this performance special for everyone, and to ensure that everything goes smoothly. With a little patience, cooperation and kindness, I’m confident that we can navigate the challenges of seating more than 400 enthusiastic guests in a timely manner.
Thank you for your cooperation, and for joining us on this incredible night.
See you soon!
