Youtheatre Summer Kickoff

On June 1, 2025, the Erie Playhouse welcomes the community to enjoy the Youtheatre Summer Kickoff, a FREE event showcasing some of the best young talent in the Erie area plus activities, snacks, face-painting, therapy dogs, crafts, goodies, raffles and more for families to enjoy.

Kids of all ages will enjoy FREE activities, including public performances from our own Playhouse Showstoppers as well as past Mainstage favorites including: Gabriel Gallagher and Shari Gould from DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST; Robert Stepnowski and Dylan Boulder from THE PRINCE OF EGYPT; Kate Thiem, Casey Conrad-Medvis and Patrick Thiem from SHREK THE MUSICAL; and Anthony Nuñez from DISNEY’S NEWSIES; and Michael Graham and Casey Conrad-Medvis from THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL. 

Taradoodles will be on hand, creating her signature facepainting masterpieces! Help upgrade our own Playhouse sidewalk when you create chalk art for all to enjoy under the marquee. Grab a free lemonade, add to our Youtheatre memory books, enjoy make-and-take crafts, selfie stations, visits with therapy dogs from Therapy Dogs United and more!

Available for purchase, we’ll have goodies from E DOGG’S Hot Dogs, Casey’s Ice Cream Cart, and raffle tickets to win prizes from local vendors.

Join us following our Youtheatre Summer Kickoff event for a Youtheatre Alumni Reunion at Plymouth Tavern from 2 – 5 p.m. Youtheatre alumni from across the decades are invited to attend!
