How would I get to the Playhouse from I-90 or I-79?

From Interstate 90
  • Take the Peach Street exit North for 5-6 miles
  • Turn right on to 10th Street (Playhouse is on the right)
From Interstate 79
  • Take the 12th Street exit East for 2-3 miles
  • Turn left on to Peach Street (Arby's restaurant on SW corner)
  • Go 2 blocks North
  • Turn right on to 10th Street (Playhouse is on the right)

Where is the closest parking available?

There is a city parking garage East of the Playhouse on East 10th Street, after you cross over State Street, on your right. There is also metered parking behind the Erie Playhouse on West 11th Street.

What are your regular business hours for the box office?

Our regular box office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. On days of performances, we are open through to intermission of the show.

Is there a dress code for the Erie Playhouse?

The dress code is Business Casual.

Is there a concession stand?

Yes, the concession stand offers a variety of sweets, non-alcoholic drinks as well as alcoholic drinks, during non-Youtheatre events. The alcoholic drinks are Bud and Bud Light for $2.00; Chardonnay, Shiraz and White Zinfandel for $4.00; Black Velvet, Dewars, Jim Beam, Smirnoff, Gordons, Bacardi, and Captain Morgan for $4.00.

How much do tickets cost?

How do I purchase tickets?

How soon should I arrive before a show starts?

We recommend arriving at the Playhouse 30 minutes before a show starts to pick up unpaid reservations. We will hold paid reservations up to curtain time. Also, arrive early if you need to purchase tickets.

How long does intermission last?

Intermission lasts a period of 15 minutes during which time the concession stand will be open for refreshments.
