The Erie Playhouse is celebrating Premiere Weekend June 14 and 15, kicking off the classic musical GUYS AND DOLLS, sponsored by LECOM Health!
PREMIERE WEEKEND: For just $19, you can purchase general admission seats for GUYS AND DOLLS, the musical that has received nearly unanimous positive reviews from critics and has won a bevy of awards, including Tony Awards, Drama Desks and Oliviers. Tickets can be purchased at the Erie Playhouse Box Office, 13 West 10th Street, Erie PA 16501, by calling 814-454-2852, or at www.erieplayhouse.org.
After premiere weekend, tickets for regular performances are available for $27 for adults, and $16 for students and children. Tickets to regular performances are assigned seating, while premiere weekend is general admission.
Starring Ken Falkenhagen as Nathan Detroit, Jason Lawergren as Sky Masterson, Leah Johnson as Miss Adelaide and Rachel Freenock as Sarah Brown, GUYS AND DOLLS also features Joel Natalie as Nicely-Nicely Johnson, Casey Conrad-Medvis as Benny Southstreet, Richard Davis as Harry the Horse, Jerry Gill as Big Jule and many more, including six performers making their Playhouse debuts!
THE SHOW: Considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy, GUYS AND DOLLS ran for 1,200 performances when it opened on Broadway in 1950. GUYS AND DOLLS takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba, and even into the sewers of New York City, but eventually everyone ends up right where they belong.
