On June 1, 2025, the Erie Playhouse welcomes the community to enjoy the Youtheatre Summer Kickoff, a FREE event showcasing some of the best young talent in the Erie area plus activities, snacks, face-painting, therapy dogs, crafts, goodies, raffles and more for families to enjoy.
Kids of all ages will enjoy FREE activities, including public performances from our own Playhouse Showstoppers at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Taradoodles will be on hand, creating her signature facepainting masterpieces! Help upgrade our own Playhouse sidewalk when you create chalk art for all to enjoy under the marquee. Grab a free lemonade, add to our Youtheatre memory books, enjoy make-and-take crafts, selfie stations, visits with therapy dogs from Therapy Dogs United and more!
Available for purchase, we’ll have goodies from E DOGG’S Hot Dogs, Casey’s Ice Cream Cart, and raffle tickets to win prizes from local vendors.
Join us following our Youtheatre Summer Kickoff event for a Youtheatre Alumni Reunion at Plymouth Tavern from 2 – 5 p.m. Youtheatre alumni from across the decades are invited to attend!
