Journey to a Trauma Informed Life

Stripped-down, modernized A DOLL’S HOUSE opens April 10 at the Erie Playhouse

Nominated for six Tony Awards, the Erie Playhouse presents the shocking Ibsen classic A DOLL’S HOUSE, adapted and stripped to vibrant, contemporary relevance by acclaimed playwright Amy Herzog

On stage April 10 – 26, A DOLL’S HOUSE features Bunny Manchester and Jim Nash as Nora and Torvald Helmer; JP Driscoll as Nils Krogstad, Karl Seman as Doctor Rank and Amanda Hurd as Kristine Linde.

Nora, a charming wife and mother, appears to live a perfect life. But it soon unravels due to a shocking secret. Hidden debts and societal expectations force her to confront the harsh truth: she’s been living in a carefully crafted dollhouse, yearning for freedom. Nora makes a daring choice that shakes the very foundation of her world.
