Journey to a Trauma Informed Life

Thank you – and here’s to a bright new year!

As we enter a brand new year, I can’t help feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the entire Erie Playhouse community. There’s a lot to be thankful for this year:

Ticket sales are up! This season, we extended the runs of NEWSIES, SWEENEY TODD and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST due to overwhelming demand. While we were thrilled to do so, I do want to encourage audiences to continue to purchase tickets early (or become a subscriber!) because we can’t always extend the run – and we don’t want anybody to miss out!

Volunteerism is booming! We’ve had incredible audition turnout this season. Our revamped front-of-house signup has led to increased participation in our volunteer usher program. From the orchestra pit to the light booth, old friends and new are getting involved at the Playhouse.

Donations are on the rise! For the first time in several years, I’m thrilled to share that we have surpassed our Annual Fund goal, and I can’t wait to share final numbers with you in the next few weeks. Big thanks to all who have donated so far, including audiences of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Additional donations above goal will help us to further reduce our budget deficit and end the year strong.

But the biggest “thank you” goes to each of you – members of the Erie Playhouse community who support us however you can. Whether you buy tickets, volunteer, donate, or simply help spread the word about the many exciting things happening at the Playhouse, you have my gratitude!

Thank you for a truly memorable and successful 2024 season, and we can’t wait to see you at the theatre in 2025.

Cheers to soaring tales and epic adventures!
