We’ve spent nearly two decades asking donors to wait until Erie Gives to make their annual donations. Now, we’re asking you to change it up. Here’s why:
As grateful as we are for Erie Gives donations (and the partial match), the Playhouse would actually benefit from receiving donations consistently throughout the year. Waiting until August means cash is tight some months, but the bills keep rolling in.
Playhouse community members like you helped us reach big milestones in 2024 and 2025, meeting our Annual Fund goal for both years. Your support keeps the music soaring, the stage lights buzzing, and the marquee shining!
In 2026, due to rising costs and necessary expenses, we’re facing our biggest Annual Fund goal yet: $275,000.
Meeting this goal puts another major milestone in reach: ending the fiscal year without a deficit for the first time in a long time.
To help us stay on track, we’re setting a midseason goal of $137,500 by June 30.
Over the next three months, we’ll provide regular progress reports to keep you informed. It’s a lofty but necessary goal, and we know our community will rise to the challenge!
