Create-A-Play Classes

Want a taste of summer camp in the winter? Welcome to Create-A-Play Classes! In these classes you will build skills in acting, singing, and dancing. Students will then take what they learn and apply it to a show they create themselves.
Great for both beginners wanting to learn what goes into theatre and experienced performers looking to hone their craft.

Build your performance toolkit with the basics every young thespian should know - from audition prep to opening night! In this class you will work on projection and diction, characterization, and physicality. The instructor will tailor the class to the skill levels of those enrolled - whether it be an introduction to acting or more advanced work.

Shakespeare Workshop

7th - 12th Grade

Intimidated by Shakespeare? Don’t be! In this workshop, Karalyn Headley (MLitt & MFA, Shakespeare and Performance) will introduce young actors to the world of Elizabethan theater and all it has to offer. Learn the basics of iambic pentameter and why the Bard’s works continue to be performed all around the world.

Playhouse Improv Jam

The Playhouse Improv Jam is for beginner and experienced improvisers alike to explore new forms, play together, and provide a fun environment to meet new people.
