Journey to a Trauma Informed Life

FREE this Weekend at the Erie Playhouse: EXCELLENT ED

EXCELLENT ED, PLAYtime at the Erie Playhouse

PLAYtime at the Erie Playhouse is back on stage with another original work created by our very own team! Children are invited to join us with their families for a FREE performance of EXCELLENT ED

Stacy McAnulty, author of EXCELLENT ED and illustrator Julia Sarcone-Roach have given special permission to PLAYtime to create a fun musical inspired by this beloved children’s Imagination Library story.

THE SHOW: Ed, the family dog, introduces us to all of his siblings and their many “excellent” talents, but what about Ed? Is he excellent enough to be a part of this amazing family? So many surprises await our young audience and their families, and some might even join the “Excellent Family” live on stage!

The program runs approximately twenty-five minutes; young children including preschoolers, homeschoolers, pre-k, kindergarteners and first graders in attendance will receive a free copy of the story and the chance to participate in activities led by the PLAYtime facilitator team after the show!

PERFORMANCES: School performances with PLAYtime partner schools will occur during the week, and free family performances open to the public will be on Saturday April 27 at 11 a.m. and Sunday, April 28 at 2 p.m – no online reservations necessary!
